He has obtained the first prize in international contest of worldwide relevance: " Infanta Cristina " Madrid; " Andrés Segovia ", Palma de Mallorca; " Reina Fabiola ", Belgium. Since 1990 he has regularly recorded for GHA RECORDS (Brusels) resulting in a series of records of great transcendence dedicated to the repertoire of the twentieth century.

He has given innumerable concerts all over the world. He's been invited as a soloist by a great number of orchestras and has been directed by famous directors. He has given concerts and has recorded for different record labels with Charles Dutoit and The Symphonic Orchestra of Montreal (Canadá), George Octors and The National Symphonic Orchestra of Belgium, Leo Brouwer and The Symphonic Orchestra of Cordoba (Spain), Pedro Ignacio Calderón and The Argentinian National Symphonic Orchestra. In 2009 he recorded with The Symphonic Orchestra of Salta for Sony Classical.

Composers from different parts of the globe dedicate pieces to him, transcriptions and arrangements that explore new guitar languages.

He regularly delivers master-classes on repertoire and instrumental technique in Brazil, Mexico, United States, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Italy, Belgium and France. He has given conferences and master-classes in Japan and Taiwan.

He has been awarded the Konex prize as one of the distinguished artists in the Argentinian classical music. The last years of work have been unremitting. Around twenty concerts are a part of his symphonic repertoire, whereas his chamber presentations as a duo, trio and quartets (always together with the outstanding bandoneon player Daniel Binelli) are constant. He has played at the famous Chamber Festival of Saratoga Springs, the Merkin Hall and the Americas Society of New York, at the Emilia Romagna Festival and the Teatro Cinghio of Rome.

In 2008 he made four presentations at the San Francisco Palace of Fine Arts together with the American "Eroica Trío".

As a soloist he played at the Alfred Cortot Hall of Paris and Concertgebow in Amsterdam.
